Arrived at home to perform AC safety check. Found dirty 20x30x1 air filter in ceiling. Condenser coil dirty, weak/failing condenser fan motor, weak/failing capacitor for fan motor, amaflex insulation deteriorated on outdoor equipment, tree has grown beside equipment squeezing against line set and could potentially create a critical failure. Charred contactor could become pitted closed and cause a critical failure. Indoor equipment return air duct is taped directly to furnace and is deteriorating. Drain pan rusted. Washed outdoor coils. Homeowner considering replacement over repairs. Leaving estimates for repair and replacement options.

**No defrost board replacement Returned to home to replace downstairs indoor blower motor. When blower assembly was out I washed and cleaned the blower wheel before replacing the new motor. Once assembled I tested the blower motor to ensure proper operation. The unit has normal blower motor amps with new motor installed.

Arrived on site client complained of downstairs heating system not able to keep up with . Upon initial inspection of downstairs unit, blower motor and blower wheel appeared to be very dirty with signs of corrosion on the motor itself. The system was utilizing too many filters causing more strain on the system. Insulation was falling off of the top of the air handler, causing a restriction around the blower wheel. High start amps on blower motor. Condenser start amps were high on both units. Noticed burn marks on the defrost board for the upstairs unit. Recommended a blower wheel cleaning, replacing the downstairs unit’s blower motor, start capacitors for the outdoor units to reduce the high start amps, replacing burned defrost board, as well as reducing the number of filters in use by the unit to one. Customer interested in scheduling motor replacement next Tuesday along with blower cleaning. Went ahead with replacing the blower capacitors on the indoor units and installing start capac
